Jessica Chen, MD

Dr. Jessica Chen is a board member at ChenMed and the Co-Founder of Thrive Well, an umbrella brand of companies dedicated to transforming how people experience health, wellness, and longevity. In addition to practicing medicine, Dr. Chen has led the launch of on-site medication dispensing across ChenMed centers and developed processes to ensure ChenMed is a leader in health care quality.

Dr. Chen had an early interest in medicine, and, after graduating valedictorian from her high school in Cape Coral, Florida, she was accepted into the highly competitive honor program in medicine at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, a combined college and medical school program.

In her first year of medical school, via medical missions, she met and married Dr. Gordon Chen, Dr. James Chen's second son. She graduated at the top of her medical school class and was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha medical honors society and elected president of the society in her junior year.

Dr. Chen completed her training in internal medicine at Jackson Memorial Hospital, where she had particular interests in women's health, preventive medicine, global medical missions, exercise and nutrition. She is board certified in internal medicine.
