About the Speakers:

About Dr. Natalie Voorn: Learning about the human body has always fascinated Dr. Natalie Voorn, and it inspired her to help others with the knowledge she gained. As a board-certified internal medicine physician, Dr. Voorn says “I love being there for seniors in their time of need—to help them understand what’s going on with their health, lend a listening ear, provide a wheelchair, or just explain what their medications are for. I also work with patients to help them become as healthy as possible.”

About Dr. Chad Hines: In medical school, Dr. Chad Hines saw that older patients often received care that was an extrapolation of adult medicine; this frequently led to poor outcomes. He has since realized seniors need specialized, holistic care comprised of love and dignity. “I am convinced that most illnesses are preventable and that physicians can be human, respectful, caring, and empathetic while still providing excellent care,” says Dr. Hines. “It is a privilege to walk side by side with patients and their families as they try to have more healthy days.”

About Dr. Jonathan Wynbrandt: While working in underserved communities of Columbus and Cleveland after college, Dr. Jonathan Wynbrandt witnessed healthcare disparities and decided to pursue a medical career to help. As an internal medicine physician, he has cared for patients and served in many leadership roles—in academic medicine, for a residency program, on several boards and committees, and overseeing care. “Spending time with my senior patients to learn about their lives, family, and what motivates them is my favorite part,” Dr. Wynbrandt says. “They are the heart of our country and deserve the best care.”
