100 At-Risk Richmond Seniors to Receive COVID-19 Vaccinations at JenCare Mechanicsville

WHO: 100 at-risk Richmond (Mechanicsville) area residents ages 50 and older; 15 JenCare Senior Medical Center volunteers, including doctors, nurses, medical assistants and operations leaders, including: 

WHAT: Up to 100 pre-scheduled COVID-19 vaccinations being safely administered in one day as a community service at JenCare Senior Medical Center in Richmond. The mass vaccination event, led by JenCare primary care physicians, is part of a strategic and multifaceted alliance with the Virginia Department of Health to better protect seniors in underserved (see attachment neighborhoods from the coronavirus pandemic. To date, these ChenMed-led efforts have vaccinated more than 30,000 people in seven states.
