Dedicated Senior Medical Center Hosts Saturday COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic to Protect Jacksonville Seniors

WHO: 100 at-risk Jacksonville residents ages 50 and older; 12 Dedicated Senior Medical Center volunteers, including doctors, nurses, medical assistants, including Michael Hernandez, M.D., center medical director, Dedicated Edgewood. 

WHAT: Pre-scheduled COVID-19 vaccinations being safely administered to at-risk Florida residents ages 50 and older as a community service. The one-day mass-vaccination event is being led by Dedicated primary care physicians as part of a strategic and multifaceted alliance with the Florida Department of Health (FDOH) that aims to administer nearly 1,000 vaccines this weekend to better protect thousands of seniors in underserved (see attachment) neighborhoods from the coronavirus pandemic. To date, these ChenMed-led efforts have vaccinated more than 13,000 Floridians.
